Signal view
The Signal view provides a searchable, sortable table of all frames and signals defined in the signal databases referenced by your topology. This is useful for exploring what data is available on your vehicle network without opening each database file individually. Currently, RemotiveStudio only supports CAN and LIN signals in this view.
Switching to signal view
Click the bar-chart icon in the segmented control at the top of the topology viewer.
When opened for the first time, it may take a moment depending on the size of your databases. This is because RemotiveStudio must index the signal databases.
Frame table
The main table shows one row per frame. Click on any frame row to reveal its nested signals, showing signal-level details like unit, min/max values, factor/offset, receivers, and named values.
Sorting
Click on any column header to sort the table by that column. Click again to reverse the sort order.
Resize
Resize columns by hovering on a "|" separator and dragging it to increase/decrease the width of the column.
Search
Use the search bar at the top to filter frames and signals. Hover over the question mark icon inside the search bar for further help.
