RemotiveBroker App

RemotiveBroker App serves as the default graphical user interface companion for RemotiveBroker. It's distributed as a Docker image and comes preinstalled on RemotiveBox.

If you follow the Getting Started guides, you can access the app in a web browser by going to port 8080. For example, if your broker is accessible at IP 192.168.4.1, open the app in a web browser using http://192.168.4.1:8080.

The app provides an intuitive user interface for various common tasks, including:

  • Configuring the broker for your project
  • License management
  • Performing updates
  • Recording and visualizing signals
  • And more

Configuring the broker for your project

The Configuration Page provides two main functionalities to help you set up and manage your configurations efficiently

  • Configuration Wizard (Only support for CAN/CANFD)
  • Upload a configuration folder

Video tutorials

All video tutorials are using RemotiveTopology RemotiveCar example that you can run on you computer and it's found at https://github.com/remotivelabs/remotivelabs-topology-examples. If you aren't running RemotiveTopology you can try this by playing one of the recording samples at https://cloud.remotivelabs.com.

List, search and select signals to visualize

Signal picker uses signal metadata from signal-databases used in the setup.

Zoom and pan

  • Zoom in/out: Alt/Option + scroll/pinch
  • Zoom in: Alt/Option + select area
  • Pan: Ctrl + drag
  • Pause: Single click in chart
  • Show all: Double click

Measure time between signals

This video shows how you can measure time between signals in same or different chart by clicking a point and then hoover other points to get a diff in time between.

  • Select signal value: Click on point
  • Measure time: First select signal value, then hoover any chart to see time-diff in tooltips
